ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Dagne Ventina is a contemporary visual artist who currently lives and works in Riga, Latvia, but childhood she spent in the countryside. She likes to paint everyday life and nature realistically with combination of abstract color fields.

She also enjoys to capture the surrounding spirit and nuances when painting in the open air. She works mainly in oil technique and sometimes in acrylic and watercolor.

Dagne’s artistic education is Latvian Academy of Arts and University of Latvia. She has had solo and group exhibitions in Riga and other Latvian cities. She also participated in exhibitions in Estonia and Lithuania. Her works are in several private collections in Latvia, Europe, Australia and the USA.
